It is with a heavy heart that we announce the
unexpected passing of Lindsay Chestnut Zwiebel at
35 years old, who went to be with the lord on Friday,
July 1st, 2022 in Jefferson County, Oregon.
Lindsay is predeceased by her beloved Father, Dr. William
A. Zwiebel; Aunt, Sandra L. (nee Zwiebel) Chiaravallo;
maternal Grandfather, James Chestnut.
Lindsay is lovingly remembered by her Mother, Nancy
E. Zwiebel of Malvern, PA; grandmother, Elizabeth
Chestnut; Uncle, James Chestnut; her brothers Sean W.
Zwiebel of New Smyrna, FL and Robert J. Zwiebel and his
wife Amy of Kernerville, NC, her sister Rachel E. Zwiebel,
and Rachel’s husband Antonino Insana of Mullica Hill,
Lindsay was a wonderful aunt and will be dearly missed
by her nieces and nephews- Macy, Hallie, and Jameson
Zwiebel of Kernersville, NC and Winston Insana of
Mullica Hill, NJ.
Lindsay was born and raised by her loving parents in
Ocean City, NJ. She grew up loving the beach and ocean,
enjoying surfing and bicycling around the island. She
was the most free spirited, creative, and artistic of her
Following graduation from Ocean City High School in
2005, Lindsay continued her education at West Virginia
University. Lindsay returned to Ocean City, NJ after her
time in West Virginia where she enjoyed working with
Ocean City Beach Patrol before she began exploring the
rest of the United States including living in Colorado,
Oregon, and North Carolina. Lindsay was known for her
love of animals, cooking, art, and for making friends
wherever she went. She was and will always be very

Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo at 644 S Shore Rd,
Palermo, NJ 08223 on Sunday, July 24th, 2022 at 11:00
am, followed by interment at Seaside cemetery. In lieu
