E. Joan Sahms, 93 of Upper Township, NJ passed away on June 09, 2022. She was originally from Roxborough, Pa and has been a resident of Upper Township since 1960. Joan was the long time Manager of Mulford Seafood in Millville and Ocean City, NJ and the Hostess at the Deauville Inn in Strathmere for twenty years. She enjoyed competing in the Tri County and State Bowling Tournaments, traveling in her camper and plastic needle work.
Joan is survived by her daughter Lynda Blank, son Ralph A. Sahms (Kathy) of Petersburg, grandchildren Pete Blank (Amy) of Furlong, Pa, Daniel Blank (Heather) of Deptford, NJ and Michelle Blank of Ocean City, NJ. Her great-grandchildren Evan, Ava and Elinore. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph A. Sahms, her parents Harry and Elsie Wise and her sister Doris Mulford.
Joan’s Funeral Service will held on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 11:00AM at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ 08223 where family and friends may visit from 10:00AM until the time of the Service. For condolences to the family please visit www.godfreyfuneralhome.com
