Obituary of Clayton W. Long

Clayton William Long, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Seaville, NJ on June 13th at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Sevilla Brown and his granddaughter Kelsey Autumn Hughes. He is lovingly remembered and celebrated by his wife Pat Long, his sister, Carole Long McNichol, his children Michelle and David Hughes, Jennifer Long (Brian), Susan Raymond (Russ), Jeff and Denise Raymond, Laura Ahl (Joe); his grandchildren Alexandra Ahl Tropp, Giana Raymond, Taylor Ahl, Ciara Raymond, Carina Raymond, Kyle Hughes, and Giordana Raymond; and his great grand-children Brent Tropp, Grayson Toler, and Xander Tropp; and his nieces and nephews, Carole Brown (Debra), David and Mary Ann Brown, Peter Brown (Tony), Carole Rodriguez (Freddy), and Robert McNichol. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, attended Westminister Presbyterian, and graduated from Bartram High School. He raised his family in Hollis NH. He enjoyed his remaining years at the Jersey Shore. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to the beach, hunting, fishing, and canoeing; and traveling. He was a member of the Rotary and the Masons. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday June 17th at 11am at Trinity United Methodist followed by a celebration of life at noon.
