Kathleen A. Johnson, 65, was called home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2022 .   

She was born in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ to John P. and Emily Johnson and was the youngest of four children. Known as Kathi, she was very involved in her family and proud to be an ‘Aunt’ of nieces, nephews and so many grandchildren.  She was a kind, compassionate soul, and friend to all.  She graduated from Absegami High School before the split from the Mays Landing campus of Oakcrest HS in 1975. After high school she attended community college before taking a position with Egg Harbor Twp. municipality.  She enjoyed her work as an administrative person and was in-charge of the municipal payroll system and proud to be within a few pennies of any audit.  She worked for the Township her entire career making many friends with all of the police department, EMTs and many property owners of the township.  She was a life -long resident of Egg Harbor twp.  A pet lover, always at her side were her pet cats, Jasmine, and Jade in the comfort of her home.  Kathi loved being with family at all events, she knew each birthday of grand-children and great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.  She always made sure to send birthday cards and at holidays. 

She was preceded in death by her father, and her mother.

She is survived by her older Sisters, Fran Jerue, Geraldine Thomas and Brother, Tim Johnson.  Kathi cherished her family, extended family, and friends. 

Private Funeral services will be held by the family.  If anyone would like to give in her memory, a donation to the Atlantic County Animal Shelter at 240 Old Turnpike, Pleasantville, NJ 08232 should be considered.
